Plastic Pollution in the Ganges

The River Ganges, deeply revered and culturally significant to millions, is facing an unprecedented crisis of plastic pollution. Millions of tons of single-use plastics, packaging materials, and discarded fishing nets find their way into the river every year, eventually flowing into the ocean.
